Sengenics has an exclusive strategic partnership with Oxford Gene Technology (OGT), founded by the world-famous scientist Professor Sir Edwin Southern of Oxford University. Sir Southern is the Chairman of OGT, and the inventor of the microarray platform. The company is also the holder of the fundamental patents underlying microarrays.

Sengenics' services and solutions are based upon a unique combination of proprietary and 3rd party platforms leveraging ‘best-of-breed’ genomics technologies.

Conventional molecular diagnostics are based on techniques such as PCR, FISH, Karyotyping and MLPA. Sengenics is focused on developing and implementing next-generation cytogenetics and diagnostics applications based on microarrays and new genomics technologies. The core focus of the Company is to increase the breadth and sensitivity of diagnostics, whilst reducing the cost and time required in producing reliable and accurate results.
