SENGENICS PROCESS

This genetic test is the international platform of choice for diagnostic screening based on its unprecedented level of accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Key steps involved in the test:

1. A Sengenics specialist will brief you in person on the scope and applications of the test.
   
   
2. Easy to read and understand informational leaflets on the syndromes covered in the test will be provided to you. * You and/or your patient will have to complete the Test Requisition Form.
   
   
3. As with other diagnostics tests, all that is needed is a blood sample.
   
   
4. Once the Form is completed and blood sample collected, a Sengenics specialist will pick them up from your clinic within 24hrs after your call or email to Sengenics.
   
   
5. You will receive a diagnostic report, signed by a certified clinical cytogeneticist and molecular biologist. This will be faxed and/or emailed to your clinic.
   
   
6. Should the test be positive, Sengenics will refer you and your patient to a genetic counsellor for advice and recommendations on possible remedial actions.
